Have prototyped an RS485 to RS232 addressable node interface/converter
using the MAX3100 (including PIC16F84 + MAX232 + LTC485). The MAX3100 is
a dream to use in 9 bit networks, just what the doctor ordered for this
job...

Project programming completed in 3 days using PICBasic Pro...
