For an upcoming project I am investigating serial buses.

What I have covered so far are RS485, I2C and CAN.

Right now I am looking on Ethernet and USB.

  Questions:

1) Anybody got a pointer to where to learn about ethernet protocol and bus?

2) Are there more buses I like theese above?
