|I am thinking of using a 12C508 with it's internal oscillator and |outputing a square wave of maximum frequency(~500kHz). Then, |I'd like to pick one of the harmonics with a discrete multiplier cct, |and drive an indirect FM cct. Modulation codes will also come |from the PIC. Although it would not be suitable for high data rates, someone awhile ago described a 16C5x-based transmitter they'd designed for 27MHz. Used a PIC, two caps, a crystal, and a short wire for the antenna. *THAT'S IT*. The PIC's clock rate was "pushed" to 27MHz and its xtal oscillator used to drive the antenna. The signal was gated by using a combination of SLEEP and watchdog wake- ups. Cute hack, huh?
