I currently (almost) finished a OSD (PAL) project with the following
capabilities OSD sonar image (echogram up to 3,7 meters), 2 bars
indicating the current position of two standard servo's. I'm still
working
on a artificial horizon part (potmeter with a small weight), the
artificial
horizon is displayed in the right upper corner.

This project works on a 18MHz PIC1684, and uses as less electronics
as possible if you'd like I'll send you the schematics and a screenshot
and if you'd intent to build it (costs excl. PIC approx. $25, but
without
the SONAR it could be $3). Its really easy to build and fun to
experiment
with. I've replyd to others once about this 'itme' but my project wasn't

relaiable yet, but now it is, so feel free to reply (gee it looks more
like an
add, don't you think). Mail to my personal email-address if you wan't
