Has anyone seen/done a design for a (parallel) FLASH EEPROM programmer ?
I was thinking of a PIC based one that hangs off the PC serial port.
There can't be much to it but there's no need to re-invent the wheel !
Maybe a mid-range PIC & a latch or two. The FLASH only requires +5V so
there's no odd programming voltages to worry about.  I was thinking of using
28Fxxx and 29Fxxx style FLASH devices instead of UV EPROM during the
development of my current project to avoid cycling lots of EPROMs through
the eraser,etc.  I currently use one of the popular 'Sunshine' programmers
but it doesn't support FLASH. (& the sofware really sucks !)
