THIMC To Whom AIt Might Concern I improved my Digikey 40$ Dataerase by opening the unit and putting a white smooth curved plastic reflector on the small UV tube on the backside. This improves the focusing of the small florescent tube and makes the unit erase > twice as fast. I did this because one had a melted case from a 1 hour erase time on some PIC16C77s once.... Eric Anyway, my Datarase II takes only 1 minute to erase a 16C73B but I leave it it for 3 minutes for good measure. I just got mine. Have they improved them in the last 3 years??
