When you program the chip, you can add a couple of RETLW's with the constents of the configurations bits. This will let the program check what config bits were programed. Why is this necessary? Are you expecting to use more than one configuration for the same program? (I'm sure there is an excellent reason for this, and I am interested in what the application is.)
