Hi John!
    If there are only two computers on your network you  need no hubs at all.
Just use a cross-wired patch cord to connect NICs. NIC full-duplex (if any)
option will work also.

Cross-wired connection:

        10 MHz            100 MHz
    1 -------    3        1------- 3
    2 --------   6        2------- 6
    3 --------   1        3--------1
                                4--------4
                                5--------5
    6 ---------  2        6------- 2
                                 7------- 7
                                 8--------8
