Hi, I have such project. It is ready and I use it. It is a small experimental panel having a 8-pin socket for I2C eeprom, a 16F84, a 4MHz resonator, a 7805 and a 9-pin RS232 connector. I have a firmware and a PC-side software - of course it all runs under DOS. No Windows. Nope. Never. If interested, send me a private e-mail.
