I am not sure if it will do BMP. but it will do PCX (which M$ paint will be able to read). To save in another file, you need to specify the output device. for pdf, it's "pdfwrite" for jpg, its "jpeg" and for pcx it is "pcx256" (there are several variants). Best to create yourself a little batch (for DOS) or script file to do all the steps automatically. there are a few sample batch files included in the distribution, and a web search should turn up a few perl scripts.
