I have to do a project of an access control to a room. The micro will
have to activate the lock and save in a memory who has entered, the date
and the hour. It will have to be linked with a PC and download all the
information saved in the memory when necesary.
I don not know wich kind of microcontroller o microprocessor can be more
appropriate.
I wonder if anybody can help me to decide for one and why.

I am also doing another project in wich I will need to monitoring three
gas sensors. I saw a Micrichip PIC, I don not remerber the name, that
has
AD/DC converters. In that case I have to know the exact name and some
hardware an software examples.
