I would like an inexpensive bench supply that provides fixed +/-5v, +/-12v
and variable +/- 0-15v.  I also would like current limiting on all sections.
I am sure 1-2A max will be more than adequate.

The PS will be used to power PIC breadboard projects.

My preference is to build one from scratch using known-good plans or a kit
primarily to keep the cost as cheap as possible.  I would consider pre-built
but I have yet to see an economical PS with the features I desire.  I am not
up to designing one which is why I am looking for an off-the-shelf type of
solution.  A quick search of the net found a few near possibilities but they
would require modifications which I really would prefer not to spend time
on.

Ideas?
