Hello, I have built a pic- based datalogger with a RS232C interface for parameter setting and data retrieving. Because the datalogger is used in seawater and the quality of the connectors is sometimes a problem, I would like to use a inductive interface to be able to communicate with the logger. This interface must be very low power ( uA- range )and must be RS232C compatible. I have seen some advertisings about transponder systems (tags), which are used in the barcode industry but I really don4t know if this is a solution. Any comments, suggestions or links to homepages on this subject will be appreciated. Best Regards, Thomas Fleckenstein
