Hello gentlemen!

I was asked by a friend to find out how he could transform his Protel
schematics to jpeg/gif for putting them on a webpage. The only way he is
able to do that now is to print it out and scan it back in, but this method
produces severe quality loss, so instead he do not bother.

Is there a program (free?) that can read these files (protel-ones) and
transform them to gif/jpg?
