Hi, anyone have any ideas where I can get hold of a couple of Philips
TDA8745A sat. tv sound chips? I tried Philips, they didn't bother to reply
to my emails and their local agents were no help either. I want to add sound
to a cheap sat tv receiver that originally didn't have sound (it was for use
in a pub for horse-race betting results). I have built a couple of sound
boards for it, but they have severe limitations- this philips chip is the
bees knees IF I can get hold of one (or two).
How is this related to  PIC's I hear you say- well it uses an I2C interface
for which I will use a PIC
If anyone knows of a similar chip I would be glad to hear from them also.
