Hi Bob, I can't help you with P-bus, but I'm just curious, wich storage device do you use ? FlashDisk ? I'd like to set up a similar system, since you've already been there... Is the overall sound quality good ? Wich sample rate you rip your CD's ? 320K/s MPEG1 Layer3 ? My idea was to interface a 20x4 LCD with LED backlit serialy (With a PIC to stay not so OT) to the Linux box and control via a custom keypad, but your idea to use the Pionner sounds cleaner.Hmmmm. Did you already tried to analyze the signal ? Ricardo Seixas >Anyone have info or a link to information on the P-bus used on Pioneer >automobile CD changers and head units? Anything at all, please. I'd really >like to be able to use my head unit to control a linux box(yet another >mobile mp3 player) and display track info. Currently I have the Pioneer >aux-in module to feed audio into the head unit, but the controls and >display are static and I will be forced to use a separate keypad and >display. > >Thanks, > >Bob > >
