This kit has been generally promoted in the last two months over here,
though the distributor doesn't have a useful website (is in fact, a
tiny branch of a Singapore firm with conflicting Web and magazine
addresses).

  I have optimistically send them an e-mail querying the following, but
while I am tempted to buy an eval kit, does anyone know whether the
software provided with this eval kit will remain usable (that is; is not
time-limited or otherwise crippled as seems to be the common lurk?

  I am also curious as to whether the devices included, or others
programmable with the system are in fact available at a meaningful price
(say, significantly less than $AUS10) in small quantities (1 to 10, and
including all sales taxes and duties)?

  Ideas?
