Yes I am a newbie - sorry!
 I have a Hank Shaer parallel port programmer which works fine with 16f84
PICs but I recently bought some 16c622 chips to experiment with. I use PIP
1.18 (Silicon Studio) in Hank Shaer mode but I can't seem to program the
chips. I know these are a "once only" program chip. When I try to blow some
code, PIP tells me that there is a write error and when I check back, the
"blank test" confirms that the chip is still blank. I suspect that I need to
modify the programmer in some way. Any suggestions please?
