The ProPic 2 Standard has the same features of PicStart Plus, but
it works on the parallel port, so no communications problem.
The Propic 2 Gold version has variable VDD controlled by software
, so it's a production programmer, PicStart Plus hasn't.
Also the user interface is much nicer than PicStart Plus.
