Hi all, We are working on a project where a PIC is talking to a Philips TDA8822 modulator via I2C for configuration of the device. The problem we are having is that the RF oscillator will not start. I believe we have all the registers set properly to keep it from being disabled, etc. but no luck. Does anyone have any experience in this area, or better yet with this chip, that could give us some things to check. We are dead in the water with this project until we can get the modulator's oscillator to start. We have verified the I2C connection by using it to toggle a general purpose i/o pin on the device. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Mark A.
