Hello!

You might try Jameco,  On page 17 of the last catalog I got (#984)
they show a serial on screen text display module.  It accepts 1200
BPs RS-232.  11 rows of 28 characters with 8 colors and a vidio
input for text overlay mode. Runs on 5V and is 2 inch by 1 inch.
 Price is $69.95.
