It is true ,they are called  Hybrid Modules (Industrial Power Modules) and
you have some choices and depend on your needs:

 Single phase ,Hybrid Bridge, common Cathode,freeweeling Diode.(2SCR+2Diodes)
 Single phase, Hybrid Bridge,common Anode,freewheeling Diode(2SCR's+2Diodes)
 Single Phase, all SCR Bridge (full Bridge 4 SCR's)
 SCR AC Switch (2 SCR parallel back to back)
 Hybrid modular (1 SCR + 1 Diode series  with central commun terminal)
