Hi PIC people, Just sent Microsoft a query (only took half an hour to negotiate their level one "flappers") as below, I am beginning to entertain serious suspicions that their "VISUAL BASIC 6 PROFESSIONAL VERSION" is not a complete product as regards support for USB. I will update *if* I recieve any return communications from MS. This is the core of my complaint over my purchased VB6 product as submitted in a bug report: >No data available on search for USB support via VB category of >MSDN help. >USB is now defacto high performance serial port on standard P.C.s. >USB H/W modules now available on several microcontrolers, also as >megafunctions on programable logic devices. >Microsoft have released USB compatible joysticks. >Where is expected S/W USB support in VB6 "PROFESSIONAL" package >with legacy RS232/.. async serial support ? PS isn't it "wonderful" that Microsoft will update windows 98 if only people will lower their tro*sers long enough ! (reduce brouser security settings). Imagine the potential for abuse (except that Microsoft never integrate other people's products into their own). Regards, Graham Daniel, Electronic Product Enhancements.
