Zoltan, I just ordered the TEA1102, a chip that might be intresting for you. It is a fast charge IC for NiCd, NiMH, SLA and Lilon. It also has a refresh (dis charge) function. I don't know the availability in the US, but it can be found at www.conrad.de.
