I think these small hand held lasers are a lot more dangerous than IR
LED's. Especially when a lot of these are a Class 3 laser product. As
far as I know you need to be a competently trained at Laser Safety
before you can even use them. I think they are also supposed to be
pulsed at 0.25 second intervals which corresponds to the reaction time
of the human eye for safety reasons, but I wonder....
