It's a 2 channel Stati= c reading accelerometer that outputs acceleration as a duty cycle, i= t only requires a couple of caps. and a resistor to set the frequency. It would be simple to interface to a PIC & in fact the= y (analog devices) sell an evaluation kit that uses a pic to re-transmit the X & Y acceleration values via RS232 to a PC.
