I just tried the same archive, same month, by subject.  I found March '98
articles about accelerometers.  This is a long shot, but maybe your browser
has a mouse-pointer to hyperlink coordination problem (I think I've only
seen that problem once, on an crashintosh that probably shouldnt have been
net surfing anyway).
