You probably can't capture full speed I2C signals with your soundcard.
Typical sound cards max out at 44.1KHz. And if you listen to our old friend
Nyquist, that makes 22Khz the max. signal you can sample.  Last time i
checked I2C was 100Kbits/sec. Now if you are running the I2C bus at < 20KHz
nevermind =)
