Can you buy Scenix chips yet?  In quantities less than 10?  At what price?

It didn't sound like the original posted needed 10x the speed of a PIC.
Indeed, it sounded like he'd be better off with some of the features
available in the fringe PICs...

I want to build the ultimate sprinkler controller as well.  Rather
sadly, I think it looks like PICs will be assigned only the task
of relay control...
