I'm sure lots noticed the "Internet Appliance by Myron Loewen" one of the
winners in the Circuit Cellar Design 98 contest.  As described it ...

"handles all the tasks of dialing an Internet service provider, negotiating
PPP configuration and compression options, negotiating IP configuration
options, authenticating itself with PAP..."

Sounds incredible on a PIC12C672 !

Anyone have any comments, experience or pointers to other areas of
