I tried hooking up my device to my 486 machine to see if the 286 was the cause of losing some bytes. I sent the data 3 times in files: 1.dat 8,745 filesize 2.dat 8,684 filesize 3.dat 8,787 filesize comparing each file against each other they all compare up to address E8Eh, then things get weird from there. I don't see erronous data, just missing data. If I expect to see a cr/lf (0d/0a) I might get the cr or the lf but not both. Data is sent in the format of xx,xx,xx0d0a there may be missing commas, or the data between the commas. But I don't see something like FF or some weird number that I know is not part of my data. It's just not there. -Ralph rlandry@haywood.main.nc.us "If they call it Tourist Season why can't we shoot 'em?"
