Bob,
   MPLAB, MMPSIM, & MPASM all work under NT.  The PIC START programmer and
the Emulator do not work.  I use NT for everything except actually blowing
the PIC, (I don't use the Emulator), and
I simply dual boot the machine in Dos to actually burn the PIC.

Hopefully Microchip will get this piece of their act together soon.

Picstart with NT if you emailed him privately.  I have not
done so, thus don't know what he has to offer.
