The idea is to bring out internal signals for an In Circuit Emulator or whatever. Otherwise the chips are the same as the "real" parts. The obvious signals to bring out would be address and data busses for the internal program memory so that you could put some external ram for the program memory. I suspect that data sheets are around somewhere, although I haven't seen any. It's the sort of information you would really only need if you are planning to build an ICE or soemthing similiar.
