I am using the 3.99 Version and the simulator works ok for me  (Slow but ok).  J
ust press F7 and it steps.  Perhaps you
should try the 3.99.    I interface with a Picstart Plus  Frimware 1.2   program
ming a 16C73

I just finished a project and did not run into any major problems.  I started wi
th 3.99. Did not read the tutorial.  Setting up a
project file is quirky.. I took a bit of fiddeling to get to add a souce node (d
on't really remember how I did it) but nothing too
much.

There are some annoying things but nothing that stopped me from developing...
