One thing to note, however. UNIX users are used to fiddling for(seemingly)ever to make something work, whereas Windows users want a simple point and click. That would suggest PDF over Postscript. I'm generalizing here, of course. I am going to try to figure out how to make ghostscript/ghostview to work. Putting large schematics on a web page as gifs does not work well for me.
