Well, that's the answer I would have given, too... But only because I hear "MPLAB Emulator" when anyone says "MPLAB". If Peter is using only the MPLAB simulator or editor, it will work fine under NT4; it's only the emulator (and other hardware devices) that don't work. When MPLAB was first developed, it was just a text-editor and assembler integrated with the PIC-Master emulator. Later, the simulator and PIC-Start Plus were added to the environment, then the ProMate and the ICEPIC emulator were added, and now there's support for SIMICE, at least three C compilers, and Microchip's linker and librarian, as well. Soon, MPLAB will control the MPLAB-ICE emulator, too. With all these options, it may no longer be sufficient to ask questions about just "MPLAB"; instead, we should all get into the habit of specifying exactly which components of MPLAB we're asking about. -Andy === Andrew Warren - fastfwd@ix.netcom.com === Fast Forward Engineering - Vista, California === http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/2499
