have built Octavio Nogura's Propic and am experiencing difficulties.
Propic will read without problems but refuses to write. When I try to
write it does not even get past the first byte. I have checked the circuit
thoroughly. I checked all the pins on the programming socket with an
oscilloscope to make sure that the voltages were correct. I have also
contacted Octavio but everything he suggested I had already done. I am
running Windows 3.1 on a 486 DX266.

Please check the connection between the computer parallel port and the PIC progr
amer, especially the ground pins.
