Why Vih max(input voltage high) on PIC only at VDD??? I think most devices(uC,EPROM,etc) use VDD+0.5 or VDD+1. This is a problem when we program PIC at VDDMin. It means all control logic (data, pulse) must be <=4.5V. This is not convenience at all. if it is at VDD+0.5 then we don't need to modify the control logic when program at VDDMin. Is it OK to program it using 5V control logic when at VDDMin? Is there any reason why Microchip use VDD? any thought? thanks www.poboxes.com/f f
