bob,
you are correct, i must have brain dribble.  the 100 volts is the min.
voltage i decided the fet must be rated for (from my notes).  the motor
will never see more than 40 vdc.

i suspected 15-20khz would be a better freq. for the pwm also.  as they
say, "everyone is using it"!
