Not sure about 500hp exactly, but I have seen a picture of
a railroad car being rotated upside down in a motion control
context.  Actually took a few seconds to figure out what it
was and hit how large!  Think of the three circle thing that
you climb into and someone outside can spin you around
through all axes.  Except I think it only had two ring /
axis motion, but was power controlled and used to take them
sideways to work on the undercarriage.
