according to my understanding, ericcson is not replacing the pbl3776.
they seem to want to sell power chips and not just sell drivers anymore.
i questioned the ericsson rep about this.  he said ericcson was not
selling enough of them :-(.  it was a great chip.  i was about to
evaluate it for a quick design, but decided against even getting
samples.
