As well as AVNET/VSI (large Customer supplier), and Spectron (agent for VSI
specifically handling smaller customers at slightly higher prices) another
official agent is Arrow Components) in Wellington (I only have their AK
free access number which is 622 0101). VSI/Spectron usually carry stock of
some PICs in Sydney and allege that they supply in "a few business days".
AVNET is EXTREMELY unhelpful to small customers but Spectron (aka Eric) are
their friendly & helpful small customer face.

GEC electronics  (AK 476 9131) - nice friendly helpful people -  will also
indent PICs (and many other things) in medium quantity but seldom carry
stock locally.
