i use a combination of ME Labs pic basic compiler and EPIC programmer.  up
until now, i have been using the EPIC with 16F84s.  i now have a 12c672JW
chip and i want to program it.
i made a circuit board with an adapter for the 8 pin chip. compiled my
working code for the 12c672 chip and loaded up EPIC.
now, there was not an option on the screen for my chip, so i chose the 12c5x
chip because it had an internal oscillator circuit (with that option)
anyway as you may guess from my posting, it doesn't work, and i wondered if
anyone could give me some ideas.
(my code seems to be readable from the eeprom - so i guess that the writing
process went ok.
