I have ordered a Data books from following companies.
Maxim,
Telcom,
Temic,
ICT,
Burr-Brown,
Micrel,
Apex,
Zilog,
ISD,
Rainbow (Sentinel dewelopment kit). 

Response time always was short for these companies 
and literature and CD-ROMs was freee for me.
