Using the DS1620 temp chip one can get highly accurate temp measurment
(+-0.5degF) I am unsure of the temp range this device accepts but it's a start,
cementing an aluminum probe to the face of the chip will conduct the coolant
temperature to the chip easily (Yup you gotta make your own probe and enclosure)
The cool part is that this device spews out data serially!
