Most were pretty bandwidth limited,as you point out. My prototype is designed to handle 8bits at 40MS/s with an input BW of 100MHz min. (of course, this violates Nyquist, but eventually I may use repetitive resampling techniques and I want to be able to handle higher BW). i also hope to move to 12bits later on.
