I am using a PIC715 in a project which needs min power when asleep for long battery life. Before going to sleep I switch of the AD and timers and all i/o made to i/p with pulldowns on spare lines. The current consumption for the PIC only is measuring 390uA when asleep which seems a bit high. Does anyone know what it should be and is there anything special about the 715 to reduce the current when asleep?. Do they make a low current version of the 715?
