Plastic clips are OK for SIMMs in PCs, as you only ever insert or remove the SIMMs once or twice. Where you are going to insert and remove them repeatedly, as in SimmStick development systems, you want the more durable ones with metal spring clips at the ends. That is Don's (Dontronics) opinion and I have to agree! I got stuck with a batch including many plastic ones. But they *were* cheap! Cheers, Paul B.
