Thanks to everyone that helped.

Once I had the PIC doing what I told it to do ( which was wrong BTW),
it was a cince to get it to work.

Pretty slick too.  All written in HiTech C.  With onboard storage of
ignition parameters,
4 individual cylinder outputs, and a serial user interface with rpm and
advance monitoring.
