Hi to all engineers.

I am using 16c57 XT/P  having startup problem.
I was using ceramic resonator 3 leads when I changed it to
crystal with  22pf caps I noticed major changes.
my question is did I have bad resonator or it is normal to be like that
with XT.
I have been told that XT pics configuration bit is pre programmed by
factory. when you are using XT parts do you over right configuration bit
.
how do you program XT parts.
